The National Scholars Program is Clemson University’s most prestigious and selective undergraduate scholarship.
A small, select cohort of new first-year undergraduate students are invited to become Scholars every year. They are selected based on their ability to demonstrate academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, a wide range of interests and experiences, leadership ability, and the potential to make an impact on their local and global communities.
These students receive a cost-of-attendance award; have access to dedicated academic, personal, and professional development opportunities; and join a community of learners who are focused on making a difference.
